Wow. When you see it listed like that it’s truly disturbing

I think they were just using it as a metaphor to describe how hardcore boring UES is. They have some great institutions, parks/playgrounds are just as good elsewhere, but after you go to your doctor, get the eff out!

The UES is the strip-mall suburb of NYC. I always feel so bad for people that have to live there when I’m up there. But I get why some people live there, it’s one of the cheapest places in NYC.

Looks like somebody could use a few Alanon meetings.

Jesus, that poor McIntosh kid.

Do what? Let employees of a huge company know it has been sold? The email isn’t really that scandalous. SHould he have walked the halls and thanked everyone?

Am I missing something? I just read it twice and didn’t read anything out of the ordinary.

If you haven’t seen his episode of Henry Louis Gate Jr’s show on PBS and ancestry research, it’s absolutely incredible. Once Gate disseminated his family’s roots it becomes clear how he is so determined and special. I love that show.

So basically a bunch of federal NIMBYs. Congress—they’re just like us!

Maybe we’re not talking about the same one. Mine was only made one season style 26977 from summer 2010 (I was mistaken). I haven’t worked for them for several years. There are several things I own that I LOVE, so I troll eBay once in a while and buy backups for the inevitable day they die. I’m glad my username isn’t

I have this exact shirt, too, and I wear it once a week all year long for eight plus years. I worked for Jcrew for many years and this on is from spring of 2009. Mine is in PERFECT condition. Then the following spring they did one out of similar quality material but with narrower navy stripes, a hoodie, with bold gold

Here is why Oprah would be awesome:

Pre-Cana, one of the only good things about Catholicism.

If you haven’t already watched his HBO mini-series The Long Way Around, I highly suggest it. If you’re a fan, you’ll be in heaven. If you’re not, you will be by the end. It’s fascinating, fun and he’s so effin’ likable. It is really well made. The one after, The Long Way Down, was good, too. But he had to be a good

She really is a national treasure and a beacon of hope for rural America.

And I would file most of those under “I’ve just given up but don’t want to come off as such...” aka schmattas.

I often have the compulsion to snap a pic of the wall of ass on some women in high-waisted jeans to show them how very, very wrong they are. Wall of ass + exaggerated belly=not a good look

It’s not really gory at all and not truly a horror movie. MOre of a thriller/mystery. The bulk of the movie is mysterious and quiet and then the violence is the last quarter

When the trailer for this played before Get Out at BAM on Saturday night, there was an enormous, extended bout of laughter throughout. Why? The terrible fucking name. It popped up on screen and there was not one person not open mouthed laughing. Not a good idea.

It’s nice that Jon Hamm was finally able to get some work.
