You are correct, the year of Linux on desktop will never come. Many flavors of Linux are now quite good out of the box, and I have used one since before they were this good, but I don’t see people converting to them en masse. Apple will sell more MacBooks, so the overall nix based desktops/laptops will increase.

I grew up driving on the left and shifted to the right in the US. It didn’t take me long to adapt shifting gears, but that could probably be because I am right handed. It usually takes me longer to learn left handed stuff than right handed stuff. The shift pattern is the same though, so it shouldn’t be that difficult.

Like I said, it’s not ever driver. Nor every time. Just cross the bloody street or is walking 15 feet beyond your physical and mental capabilities?
