Nice sarcasm.

There is nothing wrong with the car if what you are looking for is reliable transportation from point A to point B. It doesn’t appeal to enthusiasts, because it is quite boring to drive. Jalopnik is a blog for enthusiasts, and if you post about your love for the Corolla, be ready for at least 20 replies where you get

I actually thought it was Steve’s article when I clicked on it, but the language seemed different. Hopefully he will chime in soon.

For people like me who grew up on Japanese sports cars, the Impreza line has a special place. I would choose it before most other options, though I am not sure about the GT3 RS. That might need to be settled by a coin toss.

Perfect case in point. I think Jezebel is a cesspool of a whining echo chamber, and you come up and imply I’m sexist.

Now I will have to swap out the badges. I always wanted this to be called the 86 :)

If you think a sweet new Caterham represents the purest driving experience, try a Lotus Super Seven from half a century earlier.

Of course, and it is to be expected too. For example, cops in the UK don’t usually carry guns. Only a special group called firearms officers carry them (The exception is in Northern Ireland, due to The Troubles, a policy which continues today). So, even if a cop with a truncheon encounters an armed robber, or violence

I was arguing that deaths relating to cops shooting suspects in the US shouldn’t be compared to other countries, since most other countries don’t allow gun ownership like the US does, and the number of gun related violence is a lot less. So, you are preaching to the choir.

Well, the number of gun related robberies/violence in these countries are also a lot less. So, different circumstances, I guess.

suspected attempt robber Victor Martinez-Herrera says to taxi driver Ralph Valletta.

I have Citi Double, which gives me 2% back on everything I spend. If I am gonna spend a $1000, why would I say no to the $20? Also, there are cards that give you up to 5% cash back on rotating categories like gas. Now I commute close to 45 miles every day, so I am gonna spend money on gas, credit card or not. Why

And yet, now you will want one.

Losers get busted for breaking the law, then blame the police for arresting them.

I didn’t say it wasn’t good. I was disputing whether this merits being termed the latest invention.

I am not say that they don’t read Jalopnik or other car related magazines/blogs. I said that I don’t think they are going to base their purchase of a technology based on an article here. Almost all major car manufacturers already have something like this, either in house or purchased.

I don’t think OEMs are using Jalopnik to get advice on which driveline supplier to choose. Jokes aside, I agree that this isn’t as groundbreaking as the headline made it appear to be.

Either way, everyone’s pissed off now, as they are often are at Top Gear
