Watch Thursday Night Football. I know that is 4 more hours away, and you can use that period to either sleep or get some work done. Reading and posting on forums is another option, though 4 hours might seem like a really long time to while away easily.

My feelings about current Russian military tactics don’t affect my love for the Su-27 and its derivatives :)

Hmmm, that reply is relevant if an American is going to point at Israel possessing nuclear weapons and then claim that they are going to destroy the world with it. No, the Israelis are not going to do that, and their track record of 0 use of nuclear weapons in their wars is a good metric to go by.

Which specific post are you replying to here? Sorry, replying to a lot of posts, and can’t figure out which one you are referring to.

The Indians worry for multiple reasons, of course. The reason that should matter is going rogue, though.

Hard to believe. A.Q. Khan provided some info on centrifuges to Iran during the 1980s. Early design, of course, so not exactly the most practical.

That is an interesting book with several interesting facts and allegations. But, a book on allegations about Israel’s nuclear strategy during all out war will not magically erase all of America’s and Russia’s history of foreign wars by proxy and open my eyes to the one true enemy. It is going to be a really big

Maybe it is because everyone seems to conveniently forget that the Taliban sprang from inside Pakistan, and the man who threatened to wipe a lot of people from the face of the earth was found hiding in Pakistan. Actions seem more believable than words.

The US is the only nation to actually have use a nuclear device on civilian population, so I take these claims with a generous pinch of salt. Also, I am not American, so “us” won’t include me. Israel has used and still uses questionable methods to maintain its statehood, but no, them having nuclear weapons isn’t any

Well, A.Q. Khan didn’t get the memo, I guess.

All kinds of missiles fail. I am not surprised. Like Tyler said :

Yeah, of course. How can I forget that pet conspiracy theory of all American foreign policy being dictated by “them”.

That wasn’t the reason, actually. I don’t think that the government of Pakistan (at least the current one) would do anything as stupendously idiotic as launch a nuclear attack on anyone. What I do fear is the possibility that as more and more regions of Pakistan fall under the control of terrorists and warlords, the

Just like Americans give themselves a free pass on having nukes. Israelis aren’t any worse than Americans.

He most likely just wanted to say that the chances of Mr Stone ending up dead was high, but miraculously, that didn’t happen. Foxtrot Alpha isn’t anti-gun, though I am not sure what Tyler’s views are about stricter registration and background checks, mostly because I have not read any articles by him on this matter.

Pakistan has better medium range missiles than Iran. This is relative, of course, and mostly because they are built on older Chinese designs.

You are preaching to the choir. I don’t think the deal gives Iran the ability to manufacture a nuclear weapon. The guy I was replying to didn’t think so, hence I wanted to know why it’s such a big deal.

Yeah, unlike Syria, if (or rather when) a civil war breaks out in Pakistan, we are talking about nuclear warheads landing in the hands of the same people that are fighting the coalition forces in Afghanistan. It is a terrifying scenario, even more so than Putin doing something stupid.

The only reason for such peculiar weaponeering is that Russia aims to show off its capabilities in the region and to fly over Iraq in defiance of the United States and its coalition partners which are busy operating in that same airspace. Additionally, all the ships and missiles used in these attacks are for sale. In

Iranians having nuclear weapons (hypothetically) isn’t any worse than the Russians or the Pakistanis having nuclear weapons. The only difference, I guess, is in the relative perception of safety in American minds. I am still surprised that most folks aren’t alarmed about Pakistan yet.
