As a former smoker I can tell you that the first thing to do is, every time you go to have one think about how long can you go without one. Count how many you smoke in a day and after a while you will find you are smoking less by waiting. Also the patch or gum helps with the cravings. I got to where I was smoking 3-5…

I disagree on the fact that I have always seen cigarette butts as pollution. That is why back when I still smoked (for 30 years) I would field strip them and put the butts in the trash. You cannot blame non smokers for something you are just too lazy to do.
