Nope, just know a lot about the industry.

In reality most of them come from here;

In reality most of them come from here;

In some cases they are.

Have them look it up.

My wife wondered why anyone would buy a school bus as their daily driver. As a delivery vehicle fine but we have people who bought the passenger model as their DD.

Not the best looking vehicle but when you consider there are people buying these, well.

I can understand this one being from the Motor City. Around here you break down and if you leave your car to get help, a truck may show up and “Tow” your car away. Never to be seen again.

I thought it meant they lost them in the move. “Damn, now where did we pack those 1000 workers? Honey? Did you forget to pack the 1000 workers?”

Not till we see his birth certificate.

Best part is if you look at most of the CUV, SUV, Crossovers of today they look a lot like Gremlins and Pacers and especially like the AMC Eagle. The Big 3, not the best, just more to money behind them to kill everyone else. Sort of like Toyota, Hyundai and KIA of today.

You have right to drive what ever you wish. The point has less to do with where it is assembled and more to do with who employs the most Americans. Research, Engineering, Testing, Marketing, Sales, Parts Distribution, Part Manufacturing, Taxes paid, and Profit and Salary distribution has more to do with American jobs

Neutral: Should Takata’s buyers pick up the tab?

The joke is that if Americans were buying small cars and not CUVs, SUVs, and Trucks, they would be building them here but for the few that are sold they might as well ship a couple hundred over. South Korea and Japan do.

Using that line of thought then all vehicles are based off the Conestoga wagon.

You do realize that Ford sold the Chinese LR. Also that Ford supplies the powertrain for the Evoque. Part of the sale was to support them till they got on their feet. There really isn’t competition between automakers when you realize they share production facilities and parts with each other where ever it suits

Just without the shitty Range Rover quality.

I have had SUV’s, trucks, vans, wagons and quite a few sedans and coupes but the small CUV’s are good for most people. Good mileage, mine gets 25 city and 32 highway and carries 4 people comfortably handles well and I use it like a truck. Even hauled a stump grinder in the back of mine also a water heater and full

I cannot agree more, having experienced 6 of the 9 you list. Thank goodness not the second to last one, though the current administration still has 3 years and 6 months to go.

On an old pickup it looks kind of cool. But on the back of a Jeep, CRV, etc, it just looks like they just phoned in the engineering and styling. Sorry but I think spare tires mounted on the outside of a vehicle looks dumb. Only place I ever thought spares looked cool on the outside were the old Range Rovers on Doktari.
