Opps, I thought that said BS not 86. Sorry.

They inspect them to see if they are the recalled parts. If so they replace them. Usually they just replace them because it is easy and it pays.
I had mine done on a Saturday and it took them all of 20 minutes.
I have to agree with a lot of the others, this looks awful! If the styling wasn’t bad enough the color looks that same as the throw up that was in my mouth after seeing the first photo.
As I sit here at work in my cube surrounded by my 40 Hot Wheels I am thinking (does he have the ones I am missing) seriously I love my die cast cars and even though I could have spent the money on something else I decided to brown bag my lunches just so I can spend the money on a few toys for here at work. I helps me…
“Pull Over” yelled Captain Sweatpants!
Shareholder value.
Both GM and Ford sell lots of diesels worldwide and could easily bring them here. There is only one conspiracy to keep diesels out of the U.S. and that is with buyers. Diesel fuel is more expensive and as with hybrids the cost averages out to the same between gas, diesel, and hybrid over the time of vehicle ownership.…
Many cars now days don’t come with a spare or a jack.
Kill the troll!!
I have been riding bikes for over 42 years and have owned a Harley bagger for 26 years. That said I have also owned and rode a 1968 Kawasaki 120Ss, a 1972 Yamaha TD 250, a 1978 Suzuki RM 125, a 1976 Honda CJ 360, a 1965 Triumph Bonneville 650, and a 1981 Honda CL 750 Custom, plus a friends Honda Interstate and a BMW…
Agreed. I like the way you think.
Sorry I have to admit I really liked it. Hoped it would have been built with the 4.6L and independent suspension. Oh and the front clip would have had to flipped forward.
Absolutely needs to be on this list. God i hated these things. Bad retro bodies on Pinto chassis. My brain still hurts.
This has to be #1. Such a bad homage to the original. Engine should have been in the rear even if it meant water cooled and putting a radiator in front of the engine and drawing air in from the sides. screw the back seat, no one used them anyway.
OMG!!!! THIS HAS TO DIE!!
Does not sound fun. Glad it all turned out OK. I remember GM running the fuel lines thought the frame on the S-10 platforms. Never understood why you would bury lines where you can’t see and inspect them. I know they can’t run lines in the passenger compartment due to risk of fire, even for brake lines but I wish they…
Yeah the “heard a pop” kind of got me too.
The problem I have with this is; even if a brake line had popped from rust, 2 of the wheels would have still had brakes. All cars since about 1965 have brake systems that are divided either front to rear, or 1 front and 1 back cross plumbed. This prevents the driver from losing all braking should just such an incident…
Found a real gem for someone who is a fanatic.
