He’s got over 15 million subs on YouTube.  Your anecdotal lack of awareness of him does not negate his popularity.  

Honstely? That’s the smartest thing he could’ve done.
When your passion develops into a big company like that and you’re still interested in doing what actually IS your passion, let someone else do the paperwork and administrative tasks.

I get what you’re saying. And yeah, any fandom can form unhealthy attachments and expectations. But at least there are no real people involved or hurt when He-Man starts an orgy with the Battletoads.

My medium take: Shipping fictional characters is fine, shipping real human beings is gross.

I like the PS5 but the cynic in me feels the current-gen still hasn’t really started yet, there’s still lots of overlap with last-gen. Spidey 2 should be fantastic, but I’m really, really, really interested in Wolverine. 

Aw, man. I was hoping to see a cut of “War of the Worlds” with all of the alien tripods edited out and it’s just an entire film of Tom Cruise running for no reason while people disintegrate randomly around him.

I get the distinct impression that Microsoft doesn’t care about consoles and wants to get themselves into a position where they don’t have to make them - that is, it feels like their endgame is to steer people in one of two directions - users who want a fuller, more robust experience will have to play on PC, and…
