Yeah, shine a light on the best aspects of Fandom and of course it’s going to look good. Female based Fandoms have their warts, just as much as the “male dominated” counterparts, spend anytime on reddit’s /r/popheads and you can see the worst of pop fandoms bubbling to the top. Stan culture often has people pitting

It feels weird to see “Stan” as origin for the term for crazy superfan in a 2000's retrospective when the word has seen its most use in the late 2010's

If it’s anything but rollback netcode it’s a worthless endeavor

Capcom’s Aladdin was pretty fair, it was the Virgin ones (Genesis Aladdin and Lion King for both systems) that are fucking notorious

I dunno it’s pretty hard to find someone who enjoyed Sucker Punch

Funny you bring up NBA 2K for the DC because Vince was a fucking BEAST in that game. Fondest memory was raining down 6o points on my buddy using Carter.... in a losing effort, and the ensuing argument on why he should/should not have been player of the game (we found out later online player of the game had to be on

> And his base wouldn’t really care either way if he was helping black people. What is the point?

Look, I know this is suppose to be a “dumb ha ha” list but the Mask, especially his Dark Horse comic incarnation as opposed to the Jim Carrey version, wouldn’t be half bad, ticking the boxes of being “very 90's” and “ultraviolent” perfectly.

In the game you do get to a point where Nook Miles are probably more valuable then bells

> Is the fighting game genre really overcrowded though?

Ending Sunday with Big Thief + The National? Pitchfork wants to send them home sleepy it seems.

Andrew Jackson is, more or less, one of the main characters of Samurai Showdown VI

As a dad with a daughter who both love Pokemon we both left Detective Pikachu fairly unsatisfied, it was a little too slow, plodding and dark for her, kind of a dull story that lacked punch for me. I did leave it though thinking “if you’re some 20-30 year old Pokemon fan this is probably the perfect movie for you”

I can never forget it, Lives of the Saints by Nino Ricci which was in all honesty a very well received book and even got turned into a mini series. Maybe if I read it now it would resonate with me a bit more but shirtbird 15 year old me just found it a bore.

Not a mistake but on comms I often like to start random games saying “glass check, if you have an empty glass near you take it to the dishwasher after this round” and the number of people who respond or scramble because they didn’t hear my last part is pretty funny.

The only book I didn’t like that was assigned reading was an “off curiculum” modern book that my english teacher was obsessed with.

TBH considering some of the board states I’ve seen (i actually think the third screenshot is already teetering on unwieldy) this game would be dreadful on a phone. Tablet sure but not your phone.

Meat grinder of an industry + insane tv deadlines = shitty animation. Arguably it was WORSE “back in da day” because series didn’t have lenghty hiatuses like they do now. NOPE GOTTA PUMP OUT THAT FILLER ARC.

Over a million? still in the mines eh?

yeah i forgot to add there’s probably an item teir list for when you’re behind and what to hold when you’re in the lead.
