WC3 was a minor disappointment to me. It was fun and I played the hell out of it but it was ultimately flawed. Upkeep just didn't work as well as I think they expected it to work and the game usually devolved into various kinds of rushes. Furthermore they never really properly balanced the races and were constantly

Have you even played L4D2 yet? If you have you'd realize, both on a content, file size and coding level that this would be impossible to release as DLC. From big thing like new campaigns and new special infected to little things like pipe bomb physics, deformable models the things they added to L4D2 couldn't have been

I'm… not terribly offended by this list
Which I though I'd be!

I know it's been brought up but why is Multiplayer barely mentioned?
Let's face it: MW2 is a game designed with multiplayer in mind. I've even told all my friends who want to get MW2 for "just the campaign" to maybe wait for the game to go on sale (if it ever will, even the original MW is still going for full price.)

Sarcasm, poor spelling

Definite nominee for "worst cd cover of 2009"
That's all I got..

Agree with the review, not the grade
It's very much a "get what you put in" experience. I agree that the action levels are a bit of a bore but the puzzle levels are a hoot so long as you go in with the mentality "lets think of the most ass backward complicated way to solve a simple solution." Every failure I ever had

MTV and EA are pretty good at leaving Harmonix to their own devices, whereas you couldn't find a bigger Activision lapdog than Neversoft

Lego Rock Band also has a Lego Iggy Pop, SOMETHING I ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE

Hardly the "full Beatles experience" it claims to be
No Pete Best, Stuart Sutcliffe, Yoko Ono, Eric Clapton or Billy Preston avatars

A lot of people bitch about the difficulty of Beatles: Rock Band but I think it's really good. Mind you, I'm not a big fan of the Children of Bodom/Dragonforce face melters so opinions is skewed here but the songs offer a high amount of variety and a good amount of challenge. Basically songs don't boil down to a bunch

no love for Coheed and Cambria?

Pet Peeve: "Feels like a videogame"
I hate the growing trend of movie reviews boiling down a movie to the whole "well it feels like a video game" sentiment. I just find it derogatory to both mediums, belittling video games as nothing more than hails of bullets and visceral one shot cheap thrills and putting movies in

What, No "Watchmen?"
????

Screw this, Where's my DOTA movie?
I wanna see John Malkovich as the Terrorblade screaming out "CLINKZ IS IMBA! CLINKZ IS IMBA!"

Movie wise, not really much of a distinction at all. The Warcraft RTS games and WoW exist in the same universe and the stories intermingle. I'm not a WoW guy but I'm pretty sure WoW picks up after the evens of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne or at least incorporates them into world.

HEY
It's my movie!

As fun as this game is…
It badly needs multiplayer, and it's absence is odd considering the multilayer pedigree of both games it's riffing. Amplitude was one of the first online capable PS2 games and had multi tap suppot for local play and Rock Band is… Rock Band.

Hope he's using that Krusty Burger Fun Map to help you along

Gateway to Geekery is awesome and all but…
… when are we going to get to the video game related ones? 'Cos that's the kind of guy I am, the kid that plays video games!
