You are thinking too 1 dimensional. If you get 1 apple, and eat 1 apple, how many apples do you have? Sure, if you look at a receipt, it clearly says you have 1 apple, but in reality you have 0 apples.

If you make that CO2 from plants or from removing it from the atmosphere, than it can be made carbon neutral and a GWP of 0.
