The key to showing a net profit is local factories. Because as-is, they take a hit on the expenses, but can’t show profit until the car is delivered. Local factories will help shorten transportation (it also will have a side effect of making the cars cheaper in those markets)

And I would love to live in a fantasy world where words stop having actual meanings and you could use whatever word you want to mean whatever, whenever.

Tesla has been profitable on BUILDING cars since 2009. Even if you subtract the regulatory credits.

Actually, this is probably the most neutral article I’ve seen from Shillings on Tesla, to the point I think he’s been kidnapped and replaced by an impostor

Well technically speaking, they’ve been only mass producing cars for less than a decade.

Tesla has been profitable the last 3 quarters, if they come in profitable or break even in this quarter as well, they can even join the S&P500

I would disagree and point out Nikola is WAY more overvalued automaker, but then I remembered they haven’t actually built a single moving prototype let alone released anything other then powerpoint presentations, so it would be hard to call them an automaker...

It turned into a Dyson Sphere, duh!

Sorry, but I do need a full sized high performance SUV to drive down to the grocery store 5 blocks away. A camry simply isn’t gonna cut it..

And the government is most likely doing that. But that isn’t the same thing as sharing that data publicly.

To be fair, he didn’t say April of what year...

The problem with that is:

50km NEDC is about 21 miles EPA. And over 50% of PHEVs fail to get even that.

Hey, Windows Mobile could have did well if HTC stopped using 3 year old hardware while refusing to license gpu drivers and Microsoft didn’t backstab itself with WP7 nonsense.

The answer is simple, insist on installing the charger, blame the wife. I’m sure she’ll understand... >.>

Well, instant acceleration can be fun, you can also optimize your time at the stop light. Generally most people refer things respond instantly rather than be laggy. Would you appreciate when your computer is instant or slow to respond?

To be fair, these days they call hatchback sedans as suvs so...

You say EVs aren’t a thing in Europe but I disagree.

I am not for getting rid of the police, but the police should be divided up and receive proper training in their specialized field. This would save a ton of money and issues simply because they won’t have to jail people for stupid things that can be avoided.

It’s called patience and research. Just cause Tesla doesn’t responds instantly means you should just publish the article, you should find employees yourself and ask or look at other sources. CNN already embarrassed themselves last time when Tesla didn’t instantly respond for comment.
