Ah, no. They have only given global sales. The only reason why you got US sales last year was cause they only sold in the US last year. (maybe also Canada). They published global numbers this year as well same as they always did.

We have Tesla Q4 sales estimates, its the other makes we don’t have. Tesla’s sales in US for 2019 are up YoY.
The Bolt was production limited to 20k-30k due to LG battery contract limits. Not to mention 70% of US Chevy dealers don’t even stock the Bolt.
Regardless of if you feel Tesla is worth its value, only a blind hater can say Tesla has 0 value. Even if your delusion of it going bankrupt were true, does not mean it has 0 value. Let us imagine ourselves in an alternate timeline, and Tesla just went bankrupt. Would there be any automaker who wouldn’t gladly pay 1…
So does Tesla if you haven’t been paying attention.
We don’t have the numbers for US yet. As many manufacturers changed how they report numbers, current numbers are still incomplete as everyone is parsing through the data to get as accurate estimates as possible. (Of course it doesn’t help that in 2019, the Volt was discontinued and Honda Clarity PHEV sales got limited…
The thing about bitcoins is they have 0 value. So you can’t compare bitcoins to an actual company making products.
The EV market overall is growing pretty healthy. And has seen global growth year after year. Now you will obviously see slow down of growth between generations and that is normal.
You really love to go full negative. Model S and X are stagnant cause lower range models got discontinued and Model 3 cannibalization. But even with that they are selling just fine in their market segment.
They technically did. The 100kwh Model S and X is now only option, so only real choices is interiors and color. And P and non-P. And Model 3 has a bit more options of SR+ and SR(off the menu).
Regenerative braking makes it not that much, here is an old video of the P85 from dragtimes.
Sure, but it isn’t that much energy... but new law requires full transparency on charging and eliminates per hour charging as well (doesn’t impact Tesla but does impact other chargers). Hence why Tesla had to debundle the energy consumption of things like HVAC, cause its required to by law.
So Erik, when are you gonna stop shilling and actually buy one?
More like Mazda can’t afford to make an EV platform and just scrapping up all the junk they can to make something.
It is bullshit, they are assuming that you replace the battery at 100k miles. Which no one does as the battery last way more than that. Even worse, they assume that you replace the larger battery at same 100k miles as well which is even more stupid. (cause battery lifespan is mostly about cycles, so larger battery…
Due to new CA law, all costs have to be broken down for transparency. HVAC isn’t parasitic loss, its simply the energy to run the HVAC.
35.5 kwh / 130 miles = 273wh per mile. Hardly 5-6 miles per kwh.
The problem is, at that price range you can get double that range and more decent performance as well.
I have no problems admitting I was wrong if I felt I was. But in this case I am not. It’s not like I don’t understand what you are saying but I don’t agree and using other references I have shown that its not correct
They can just become yet another Toyota unofficial subsidiary like all the other Japanese car brands.
