What nonsense are you talking about? Solar panels are made of glass, if your roof is at an angle and your house is heated, the snow will slide off. If your roof doesn’t have a good enough angle or you don’t heat the top floor (maybe due to attic?), then you can get a heating system for the solar panels as well.

That is nonesense, there is enough offpeak capacity to power every single car on the road already.

The current voting system makes it almost impossible for an independent because it would be seen as a “Wasted vote”.

That is like sharing a horse carriage platform with a car... it sounds good at first but not so good when you put some thought into it.

It’s a terrible combination for anyone who has dealt with hydrogen. There are better, safer and cheaper alternatives.

No it isn’t easy nor smart. If you plan on making PHEVs, sure, but BEVs and hdyrogen on same platform? You are just making huge compromises. Because their requirements and profiles are quite different.

Which EVs do you need to totally disassemble to replace the battery? I mean sure, some of them require some disassembly, but not too much different from an engine swap

Sure, hydrogen is the betamax of the autoworld. But BEV isn’t VHS, it’s MicroSD/Blueray. Even the engineer who lead the creation of the Toyota Mirai admits it is inferior in almost every single way.

That is still below the epa range of 125. (which is perfectly normal for when going at higher speeds)

Tesla Roadster 2? Or maybe drive one of their semis?

It’s nice to see the range improving in efficiency as the benefit is more than just more range but lower cost per mile.

Range loss would be the same on any car if you go at higher speed (laws of physics). AC shouldn’t waste much energy though.

Considering some of these short sellers have actually cause harm to his business, I wouldn’t say they had no impact.

Normally, you would be right. But in the case of Tesla where everything is news worthy, these small minority of shorts end up having their stuff spread via global news networks.

Short selling isn’t inherently evil, but there are some short sellers who will go beyond legal means to cause harm just like the guy in this article.

Musk is not using them as an excuse to explain stock fluctuation. These short sellers (not the majority, just this small loud minority) have gone to length to commit fraud and even physically harm Tesla employees like in this case to try to take down Tesla.

The problem with Navigant Research is their methodology is highly flawed. I remember back in the day when they did one for batteries.

Another poor clueless article with an inaccurate narrative.

I think you have some reading comprehension issues jim.

Activist investors are shareholders at publicly traded companies who attempt to affect change in an organization either by directly appealing to, or putting heavy pressure on, the company’s board of directors, bypassing the normal advisory process.”
