I think one of the funniest parts of the whole scandal is that she was trying to get her kid into some place like University of Southern California, a place I had barely heard of prior to the incident. They weren't aiming for Harvard or the Ivy Leagues. It was just some dumb school in California.

That is sort of what I was thinking. How much prison time should someone do for this kind of fraud? Add to that the fact she also got hit with a fine, she presumably didn’t get the bribery money back and neither of her kids ended up with a degree it seems pretty reasonable.

It’s just that she was welcomed back so quickly. If I did any time in prison I would have to beg for my job back no matter what it was
