I didn’t believe my eyes when I first saw the headline. Like I’m not reading this right and Williams photo is not supposed to be next to it.

I saw his name trending on twitter, and figured I was going to see a lot of Denzel gifs, but this was one of those horrifying times when I would have preferred seeing that overused meme.

I heard the news, and yelled “NO!” This is absolutely heartbreaking. He remains one of my favorite actors ever. So much great work, and decades more that he would have given.

Bingo. I’m fully vaccinate and fully mask-wearing, and I just finished my quarantine. Somehow, I got one of those nifty “breakthrough” cases that all the kids are talking about. It was not fun. As much as I would absolutely love to see this on a big screen, I can watch it at home, thank you very much.

Seconded. Villeneuve’s movies aren’t always perfect* but right now I don’t think anyone matches his talent for visuals, and seeing anything he does on the big screen is a treat.

I will happily wear a mask for 2 hours and 35 minutes to go see this on a big screen. Can't wait.
