12 years is actually quite a lot of time...

Right, I thought she was just helping Jane carry stuff for class credit. She didn’t seem to understand much of what Jane was saying or doing. Glad to know she was paying some attention.

Proximity to Asgardian antics is probably inspiring. Also might cause multiple science professors to literally fight each other for the opportunity take you on a PhD student.

Going from poli sci college student to renown astrophysics expert in 12 years. You go *DR* Lewis!

Some good teasing in this episode

I cackled with glee when he pulled out his card like that

Two things I loved about this episode:

Is there any modern music that will become classic? Everything is forgotten in minutes now. Everything is too fragmented now.

It wouldn’t surprise me to find out the Gallaghers have said some stupid shit, but their assholery is generally directed at each other. Their political opinions are mostly center-left and it doesn’t seem like they care all that much. They’re generally not riling up the masses for dumbshit conspiracy theories, and

Can’t the Oasis guys go back to being our favorite British pricks?

Eric Clapton and Morrissey are stuck in an eternal battle to see who can say the dumbest goddamn thing any time they open their mouths.

I’ve really never understood the problem with actors playing roles of characters when they don’t have every trait of the character, and this article spends so much time wallowing in unearned snark that it doesn't even make an attempt to make a case for why it's bad, just assuming everyone will agree. C'est la vie, I

I know- impossible to watch without tearing up.

“I’d rather have them all back here and no hits at all.”

Let me be the first to say they are fantastic. They transcend disco. And it’s an absolute shame Barry has been left alone for so long on his road.

Woody Guthrie did just that.  I wish Dylan had taken a bit more of Guthrie to heart.  How much more money does he need?  How much longer is he going to live to enjoy it?  Another 60s idealist cashes in.

Thanks for that!

I do think he’s fairly popular, but it does feel like they’re overstepping in trying to make a genial talk show host into a ubiquitous movie star. Fallon at least had the decency to fail at movies before returning to late night, and pretty much staying there since then, give or take a children’s book or whatever. And

Can someone explain why Kidman’s character is named “Angie Dickinson”?

I don’t mean for this to be edgy or snarky, but is there a demand for James Corden?
