In a weird thing all of this came up because of Chloe Dykstra. He was best buds with her and he went to the podcast because the other 2 co hosts (Jonah Ray and Matt Mira) had about him being a nightmare person in Comic Con without revealing his name (Literally trying to get to a party saying “Do you know how I am? Fuck this guy. But “gaslighting” is not a real thing. Sorry.

You tell them to be wary of people with lots of power, fame, influence, status, money, etc., for they tend to act as if rules and common decency don’t apply to them.

“He’s never even been in my kitchen.”

I don’t know what it is about that name, but just about every Max I’ve ever met has turned out to be a fucking piece of trash. Junior high/high school bully- check. Asshole I used to skate with - check. Guy I used to work with - check. All flaming trashbags.

This guy is a pig and belongs in jail if even one of these stories are true.

The whole apparatus down there is more trouble than it’s worth most of the time.

Yup, I remember my mom signing the permission slip to watch it. Watching it in middle school was hella awkward, LOL, I was teased about my breasts in middle school and after viewing it made me want to crawl under a rock.

RIP to the man who got us to see boobs in middle school

Hate to be pedantic, but the Brooke Shields movie is Endless Love, not Endless Summer. Anyway, reading this, it surprised me how many Zeffirelli movies I have seen over the years. God, I remember seeing The Champ at the drive in with my family, and all of us trying not to weep at the end of it.

Aw man. I remember that Romeo and Juliet and that Hamlet. Must have watched those ages ago. Didn’t know it was the same guy. R.I.P.

My high school English class made us get our parents’ permission before we could watch Romeo and Juliet. I brought home the permission slip and told my parents I needed a signature so I could watch the movie in class.

And that’s saying something. When your sure winner is outdistanced by a couple touchdowns multiple times, then you know there’s some bad shit to be had.

I love this very talented man. It makes me happy to see the growing number of Maori people on screen.

And it’s included on the DVD that I borrowed from the library, which I had to do when Boy was removed from Netflix after I had only gotten halfway through.

His double live album is a classic however...

This short went on to become Boy...

Sounds like Franklin said some things whitey just wasn’t ready to hear.

Because Taika loves recasting, I initially thought the girl in the second screenshot was the same girl from Hunt for the Wilderpeople, but then I realized that this movie was filmed 12 years before and then I mostly just felt like an asshole.
