He was a genius, just brilliant.

Dammit! Beat me to it.
“But Hal Blaine would take over when they needed the best.”
Perfect time for me to debut my even worsely named series, SMILK.
If anyone really cared they would have stopped playing his stuff back when the allegations were made.
Not to mention his Max Headrom-esque cameo in Back to the Future II.
I don’t think that’s the right decision. The man’s legacy is complicated, to say the least, but this seems like a bit of a reach. Next you’ll tell me nobody will air Men in Black II anymore, of if they do it won’t feature his cameo. There’s a point where this all gets silly, and I think we’re there.
I think you’re right about everything except this particular interview. Because in this particular interview, we’re all laughing at this stupid motherfucker for trying to cry his way outta this shit. And applauding Gayle for not giving him any applause for his acting performance.
That hit me, too. So Kelly is saying he doesn’t have a cult but he is a slave owner? That’s... a weird defense.
To be fair, if I were this dude’s lawyer I would be doing everything I could to get him behind bars until I got myself fired too.
“My biggest weakness is that I’m a perfectionist. And I run a sex cult.”
Who signed off on that? What lawyer on Kelly’s team said, “Yeah, go on fucking national television and emphatically deny these charges. Open yourself up to cross examination without any legal protections. Accuse everyone else of lying and blackmailing you. Get super emotional too, that just screams Innocent. Yeah,…
“What’s my biggest weakness? That sometimes I work too hard, and I care too much.”
Damn son, are you trying to beat the charges or get confirmed to the Supreme Court?
This is what I thought as well. Jackson deliberately drove a wedge between those men and their mothers while promoting himself as their sole love object. That went on for years, and it doesn’t vanish overnight.
Agreed. Out of the (90210) cast who either didn’t take their good fortune seriously or behaved liked they were A-List - he seemed to be one who understood fame’s fickle nature.
he was good in John from Cincinnati.
The only thing about Luke Perry I have any recollection of is an episode of Johnny Bravo that had him as a character. Perry was someone whose name was the only thing I knew about him, but this news is devastating. No one should have to die like this, and and this age. I’m very sorry for his family and friends.
That’s the price of way too much cocaine and wild sex back in the 1990s. I assume his early death was part of his pact with the devil.
Never been a fan of his work, but man, 52? Yikes.
