Agreed. And I'm being kind of hypocritical in my comments anyway, as I really need to get myself back in therapy and on meds for my own shit. My case is not at such and extreme as this character's is right now, though, and that is (for me) the hardest time to get help… when everything just feels like the norm, even

I was starting to get really fucking annoyed with Gretchen in this episode, because if she's self-aware enough to know that she's worse than she's ever been mentally, then she should be getting help and taking meds, because duh. I know how hard it is to get your ass in gear and really deal with these issues, but she's

Let's hope the whole thing is as awkward as their appearances together on live awards shows.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is super hot. That's about as deep as I can get about this show anymore. Alicia better put it on him.

That was bullshit. Totally expected bullshit, but nonetheless. It was exactly what this show didn't need to do after building up good will within the last couple of seasons. Such a cop out. I couldn't get into any aspect of the episode after the disappointing start. (And I do like Glenn, that's not the issue. They

My dad and many family friends worked on that movie. For reals.

Awesome! Yes. Thanks so much for listening! I'm Jen, and I do the show with my friend Steph, but we live in different cities now. Next week, I'll be in Austin, so we'll finally get to do one together, and maybe record some silly drunken soundbites to plug the show. Glad you like it!

I came here to laud Please Kill Me. What an amazing book. It makes you feel like you were actually there, and isn't afraid to be brutally honest in its depiction of people who many consider idols. It's really depressing too, but that was the truth of the end of an era. "Fun fun fun! Now, everybody dies of heroin

I was pretty riveted by the first ep. Yes, it's a bit cliche, and it's a bit salacious, but I also found it super entertaining. I'm wondering how they'll resolve the creepy rapist brother plot, though. That is uncomfortably disturbing.

I didn't say it wasn't selfish, all I said was it's not rape. If we see an Alison POV next week that makes the scene actually look like rape (like she says no, she tries to get away and he won't let her, etc), then we can talk about actual rape. It wasn't ambiguous, just seems like people can't tolerate any sex

This show has gotten so good. I've always been partial to it, because I love depressing dramas, but man, it's pretty impressive how they've evolved with some simple retooling.

Jesus Christ, can we just not with the fucking rape accusations here? That wasn't rape. She could have left. She could've said no. She didn't. She stayed and let him have sex with her. Come the fuck on.

Hahahaha… I've read so many different versions, I guess. I was under the impression that Williams had left as showrunner after S4, right before they went to college. That's when things went from "What?" to "Ugh!" I stopped watching the original run during early season 5 I believe. They really mishandled every characer

Well, I don't think he was an underdog because of Dawson (although Dawson + Joey were the presumed endgame from day one, and even in the finale, until they realized the chemistry was too strong with Pacey), but more because he was the one with all the family problems, school problems, etc that everyone looked down on

That is exactly what I was thinking during last night's episode! Poor Joshua Jackson, he just needs to be loved! Haha. He's so good at making you root for him with a special brand of underdog charm.

What are you talking about? It was literally something that gave me pause on my one and only viewing of the episode. I wasn't treasure-hunting for clues. This show is not that deep, guy.

Why are they fucking with my presumed "Carrie & Quinn against the world" premise for the season? Boooooooooo-urns!!!!

They seemed to have made a point of keeping a blank space and a pause where his name usually was. I think if he was actually dead and not appearing in future eps, they would have edited the transition to be seemless, like when other characters have been written out. They made it very, "Hey look guys! Glenn's name

"POINT. . . S!"

Daaammmnnn… That would be… really fucked up.
