I know a guy who sold bootleg NHL jerseys, the first thing that stood out were the laces that close up the neckline. Real jerseys have a thicker flat with rounded edges type of lace, and the knockoffs usually have a plain flat lace that looks like it came off a pair of cheap sneakers.
