How come you guys never reviewed Acceptance? I thought it was the best of the trilogy.

No, you’re not, because unless you’re literally blind, it’s simply not true that you can’t tell the difference.
I’d imagine it’s probably real easy to win arguments when you misrepresent them intentionally and then dismantle your own misrepresentations. Someone should make up a term for that.
No, that’s not what I said. You see, it’s really easy for you to refute my argument when you portray it as a completely different argument.
the context meaning how likely you feel it is to be punched in the face for opening your white mouth on a subject you have no business talking about to black people?
That’s cool, no one wants you there anyway. Racist shitstains aren’t the target demo.
I’ve never been in that situation. Frankly, I don’t think I’ve ever heard a black person refer to another black person as the n-word (hard R), so I can’t say for sure how I would react in that situation. I suppose the context would determine my reaction.
read the actual article. it very much is about normalising gayness, and some gay people are trying to do that by reclaiming words like “fag”.
All good criticisms. I’d add that it also fell into the usual super hero trap of relying too heavily on CGI, particularly in the climactic battle. Compared to the casino fight or the waterfall fights the final battle was muddy, difficult to follow, and lacked the weight or impact of those earlier fights. And those CGI…
I’ve never seen anyone on The Root do that, so no.
all i’m saying is, as straight people we have no right to try to police how gay people refer to themselves.
Unless you are in fact gay, please remove yourself from this conversation.
Does that include Adam Rippon? Because he doesn’t appear to have had any say in what he was called in this article.
If video games were the cause of violence then Japan and South Korea would be war zones.
If you’re not ignoring racism, then you’re not ignoring race. Nor should you.
Maybe to watch. But to play?
I’ve been watching Dale on the local news since I was a kid. He’s always been the greatest.
What action? What is law enforcement supposed to do against someone who hasn’t committed a crime?
First, I would give up all my rifles if it meant ending gun violence. But why are the two mutually exclusive? Please explain how giving up my hobby would save lives.
It’s like these idiots don’t understand that you can very easily kill dozens of people with a rental truck.
