That audiences are to blame for the lack of representation in Hollywood.
That audiences are to blame for the lack of representation in Hollywood.
You are about 70% correct, and 100% an asshole.
I wouldn’t call it whitewashing when the character’s race is never once mentioned in the book that’s being adapted. In fact, it’s only referenced one time, in a single throw-away line in the second book (which the director claims to have not read) that has literally zero impact on the narrative of the trilogy overall.
“Strong, but flexible. Inanimate Carbon Rod - 2020.”
“I’m a conservative today not because I was born one, but because of the experience I earned as a Marine in combat, my experience as a husband and father, my choice to be a Christian, the schools I chose to attend and the decision to pursue the career that I have,”
Anyone can critique anything, but if you’re ignorant don’t expect anyone to give a shit about your critique.

Barack’s may look more like him, but Michelle’s is a better painting overall. I really don’t care for the distracting background in Barack’s portrait.
I’ve read nearly every novel he’s ever written.
There’s no “better” version of The Shining. Only two adaptations that are awful for different reasons.
People always hold up King’s endorsement of The Mist’s ending when defending it without ever acknowledging that Stephen King absolutely sucks at writing endings.
Considering King’s track record when it comes to endings, that’s not exactly a ringing endorsement.
You (and now I, I guess) are going to get so much shit for putting The Mist on the worst list, but you are 100% correct. A completely cheap, nihilistic, stupid, unearned ending to what was otherwise a fantastic movie.
The National Security Council scrambled to paint Trump as something other than a big dumdum, deeming him “an avid consumer of intelligence,”
It’s a moot point for you, though, since judging by your screen name you are a Bills fan, and are always rooting for the underdog anyway.
To be fair, neither of those actually qualify as treason.
No, but it does look like the face of a Dick Tracy villain.
