Here’s the simple fact: The Washington Post did journalism the right way, and Jezebel did not.

They absolutely have made the game unwatchable. Or at least, they’ve contributed to it a great deal.

Plus all scoring plays, plus all turnover plays.

Oh my god, don’t even get me started on challenge flags. I just love waiting around for an extra two minutes to find out whether I should be happy or sad about what would otherwise have been an exciting play.

It’s not “a minute or two of our lives,” though. Look at the NFL. It’s a minute or two....3-5 times per drive. It amounts to a sluggish, horribly-paced game that is nearly unwatchable.

Replay has made the NFL unwatchable, and it’s doing the same thing to baseball. Replay in soccer is a fucking terrible idea.

For her to be an “Uncle Tom” in this context would require her to be against Trans rights. Trans rights and gay rights are related issues, but they are not the same thing. And they are certainly not the same thing as abortion rights.

How exactly is it “self-evident” that she is not right in the head?

Why is her gender of any importance? How exactly was she “keeping it from voters?” She was asked if she was a woman and she said yes. Whether she was born a woman or transitioned into one is her own damned business. No one asks cisgendered people to justify their gender.

I personally agree that football almost certainly causes CTE, but there is some extreme selection bias in that particular study.

In what way is this tragic? It sounds like she hid the fact she was trans, a news reporter found out about it, and reported it. That fact was, apparently, of interest to the voters of Boston. That’s the way journalism is supposed to work.

There are, however, several studies showing that repeated sub-concussive hits to the head causes CTE, and there are studies that show NFL players take more of those types of hits to the head than the average person. You put those pieces of information together, and....

And the WiiU sold.....well, let’s not talk about that.
