Another house, another offer. Now for the usual painful wait and inevitable disappointment. We just did our pre-inspection this morning and (un)fortunately it came back extremely positive, so I didn’t pull my offer. There are at least four others on the table, that’s all I know and now there’s nothing else I can do.
Again, the answer is, “me.” My dad and I picked up an installed our new countertop yesterday. It was on order last month, but wasn’t going to arrive quickly enough for when we listed the house and left town. I got 25.65 miles per gallon on my road trip today, shattering my previous record! Maybe the car just loves to breathe, because I wasn’t driving with any regards to fuel economy, nor was I taking speed limits very literally in the twists... Or on a few straights... Or pretty much any... Um... 🤔
What’s next for us? Maybe buy? Maybe rent? I don’t know, I’m not concerned. But I’ve got big plans for some of the money in meantime. Good things are happening. Things are... really finally happening.
I have to save them all before I go for my next drive, but they’re so tiny and difficult to wrangle.
Delta wielded an old but trusty 757 to carries my buns to that one place I went to that one time. They also gave me a tiny screen and lots of stuff to watch.
But I’m excited to be home back home soon.
