Richmond! Hellz yeah. At least motorists are somewhat familiar with them thanks to Monument Ave. I haven't been back to the river city in quite some time, but I can see how most of those intersections wouldn't do well after converting to roundabouts

when you mentioned "cars that look good in yellow," the first thing that came to mind was the Mazda Protege5. Looks awesome in yellow.

redacted after reading the source article

They train for flight deck landings by landing on ships, pure and simple. Also, we mock up a flight deck on land and will practice approach patterns to it where we have a significant margin of error. For learning to deal with the pitching deck, however, there's nothing to it but to do it. Simulators are used more

As a first gen owner, it's a pretty simple fix to give you more fun noises - replace the rear motor mount. It costs maybe $40, and then you don't have to deal with the psychedelic patterns adorning the seats and door panels of the new version.

a Cobb short throw shifter would make it all better too.

Allowing the sidebar to scroll with the rest of the page is an absolute godsend, as is having the chronological listing of articles down the main column. As a front page, it's pretty much exactly what I would like. However, one of the things I hate about the current design is just how much territory the sidebar

I seem to remember a PopSci article a few years back about how some military types were speculating about just this - they'd have a satellite with a couple hundred tungsten darts to be used as a kinetic energy orbital bombardment platform. Pretty sweet/

that'll be an easy fix if ever there were one... Subie's boxers are so low, you can do anything in those engine bays. Plus, you've already got the absurd wrx aftermarket of bolt-ons; I'd be shocked if they don't port right over

haha, you've got me there. Definitely a technicality, and one that's rapidly losing its significance. Just look at the new A7, Panamera, etc, all looking to blur the lines even more.

technically, the Speed3 is a 5 door/hatchback/however you want to call it in these days of 4-door coupes and all sorts of automotive ambiguity. Also, you could probably make an argument about mass-market the mass market side of that statement, as Mazda only sends 5,000 Speed-variants to the states each year. Not

I walked into a Mazda dealership and bought a brand new Speed3 for 20k with a 2k trade in, with minor haggling. And there's only one (exceedingly unnecessary) package available. You need to cross-shop more and/or learn to speak dealer, man!

seriously? Mazda's got it all over the twisties. The Lancer's a safe bet too... that's most of the list right there

It's tough because it works directly against economies of scale. There's a reason non-dealer options were the first to go when the auto companies realized they were about to feel the pain. It's much more expensive for them to pay a dude (or multiple) to make one mustang (out of 50,000 or whatever) specific to your

don't they know microSD is the new standard? miniSD hasn't been compatible with my phone since 2009! Geez...

@nileppezdel77: no, but she did say "now it's a proper car" when standing next to the green Focus RS

This is far more impressive. Handicapped-types overcoming adversity ftw!

@venc: no, it couldn't. The tv has to be able to sync with the glasses, so that the appropriate lenses are shut/open in accordance with which "side" of the image is being displayed.

@waclark57: and probably even more flammable than the natural trees. pros and cons.
