Dan Stevens is just killing it. He's so intensely likable, and in a role that is such a vortex that is essential.

Equally, a road trip probably feels a whole lot more important when you're homeless, and your relationship with your best friend is kind of rocky because his dad fired yours, and he's not really talking to you anymore.

He's definitely got some of the clunkiest lines this show has to offer (and the dialogue on this show is 80% ridiculous) but I think he's doing pretty well. That Jughead's one of my favourites says a lot in his favour. His brand of prickly pretentiousness works for me.

Hey, don't get me wrong, this is by far the story I've cared about least and there's nothing I want more than for the show to move on and spend time on literally all of the things you listed.

Yeah, I agree. If there had been enough episodes that this sort of subtlety was the general handling of serious issues, with episodes like last weeks take on slut shaming being more of an exception than the rule, I'd be feeling more comfortable about this. But right now, this feels like a misstep.

That Jughead plot really -was- organic - it added a lot of perspective to the character and helped explain his motivation in the episode very nicely (I really was wondering why he cared that much). Good job, show!

Thank you! I keep wondering when any of these kids are going to notice they're going to high school in Silent Hill.

Woooooow. That was a truly, truly bad year.

If you save neither does that get you off the hook?

Hey, to each their own, right? If I'd been on the fence about it, this alone would've immediately moved this to a buy:

There is nothing in the world my SO loves more than menus and meticulously ordering equipment and inventory, and he is also an enormous Dark Souls fan, so I think I've basically found the holy grail of birthday presents here.

Oh ho ho ho ho! Oh, you're too much!

They're especially attractive when cut rapidly with other, mirrored Dutch angles in a way that is in no way needlessly disorientating, just in time for a wonderful, subtle split fade into the next scene.

I watched Battlefield Earth for a bad movie night.

I want to add something meaningful to the discussion, but on an entirely shallow note, that sparring scene between Roan and Echo is a huge part of why I'm so happy McGowan's a regular this season, 'cause dang.

Sleuth Jughead shaking down scouts with intimidating tactics like stealing sundaes is just adorable. The voiceover is getting weirder though - why is he psychic?

I unabashedly love his dorky hat. I never want him to give it up.

X-Men Legends is definitely my favourite too - I had loads of fun playing that co-op when I was younger, even if it was distressingly easy to accidentally send Storm - who can fly - careening off the edges of things.

Top 5 for me:

Oh Josh, what a swing and a miss. Those women are going to destroy you.
