Those were such bullshit missions.. Sub Orbital, basically gimmicks. I really dont understand the business plan for Virgin, and Blue Origin is a mess. BO started roughly the same time as SpaceX, and they are yet to reach orbit despite working towards that goal for 20+ Years.

This one has the benefit of not being a personal vanity project. Also substantially more planning, and a much better develop launch (you know, when that can get to orbit). Bezos and Branson are launching model rockets from their yard compared to what SpaceX is doing.

I keep pondering, if I were running this grift, which would be better? String out the rubes for years with a long-running saga of Deep State sabotage of our production pipeline before fading away? Or actually producing a product with shitty $9 hardware and a creaky Android interface?
