Yeah he pretty much wrote all of these scripts in one big year long burst (which shows in their quality I think), and they all got greenlit after Chronicle. Now that hes out of the shadow of that and directing/showrunning is when you can really judge how good he is as a storyteller.

'You kids and your ties…god damn 20th century affectation'

Did we really need the last part?

Field needs to play Future Jess.

Who doesnt?

Regina King as Murtaugh, Juliette Lewis as Riggs.

This looks TERRIBLE. except for hanks and the doctor in the car-id watch 90 minutes of that.

This show could really swing either way depending on the casting of Riggs.

This sounds like Terriers vibe with Christina Hendricks. IM in.

If anything it makes me want a dark r rated take on The Cat in the Hat.

JGL western??? YESS

Oh yeah, thats stupid haha.

Is his theory that Hannibal is trying to get Will to kill his family? Cause I actually believe that one.

Its like The Dark Knight in that respect-tying it more to the real world aesthetically enhances it as a genre piece instead of limiting it.

Nope watch the scene again-Bulldog could care less about her-he just wants to know about the moth.

Im so bummed Migs couldnt show up in the tv show.

Demme and Ted Tally too. You know your in trouble when people that talented want nothing to do with it.

I would actually point to the little remebered Copycat with Holly Hunter and Sigourney Weaver, as at least trying to keep the gender politics of Silence alive in the format.

My favorite analysis is Demme's 'Its about one woman trying to save another woman'

See I love that. Its a nod to the 'Hannibal is the Devil' interpretation Fuller would go into full bore.
