Normally I would defend a person for having simple tastes and being comfortable with who they are. But those folks usually possess a substantial level of humility and empathy that are pretty much non-existent in this case.

The only meat that worries me is chicken. I don't overcook it, I'm just a lot more aware of how I'm cooking it.

It totally is. Sanitation is much better now than it was 50 years ago. There are less things that need to be killed living in or on our meat today.

Superunknown was the first song I put on this morning after reading the news.

Right Turn by Alice in Chains is one of my favorite songs of that era (and Sap one of my favorite albums/EPs), and what makes that song is when Chris Cornell comes out of nowhere near the end just straight up wailing.

Never knew that. I'd love to hear more about his kitchen days/early years.
