There were articles early in the year about how they wanted to move MSNBC in a more right wing direction and were resentful/unhappy about Maddow, Chris Hayes, etc. doing well in the ratings.

The cool thing is that Cernovich, someone who literally has been charged with rape and continues to advocate for sexual violence will never lose his platform because the founder of twitter follows him.

The tweet is obviously anti-rape and anti-Polanski. It’s literally calling out Polanski apologists. What a ridiculous thing to get fired for.

What was I just saying yesterday about how MSNBC is only ostensibly leftist and at heart a corporate (read: deeply conservative) organization that only employs people like the great Christmas Hayes and the awesome Rachel Maddow as counter-programming?

It’s really mind blowing. They actually convinced people that the tweet was sincere and not a joke. It’s a great joke too! One that points out the hypocrisy and ambivalence of Hollywood.
