V-Sync and mouse acceleration are horrible.

'Closet gamer' makes me think of someone who hides their gaming or isn't 'allowed' to game when they would like to. Why you would want to spend your life with someone who doesn't 'get' your hobby is beyond me. Especially if it's a big part of your life, which it likely is if you're posting on Kotaku. Your partner

Sounds like you married the wrong woman.

I think it's pretty obvious they're just doing things like this to stir up publicity. I don't like the route they've gone here at all. I had no problem with No Russian, because I didn't feel like No Russian was just thrown in for controversy, it felt like it belonged there and had a purpose. This does not. This is

I buy them for the collector in me as well, but it's also for future playthroughs. If I want to sit down on the couch and play something like Fallout 3 or Vagrant Story, I don't want to have to get up and check my computer. I also don't want to have a laptop sitting beside me that I'm constantly browsing on, having

The assumption that not playing World of Warcraft (I specify instead of saying 'a video game' because that is the point you're making) is automatically 'greener pastures' is confusing, unnerving, and depressing.

My girlfriends reaction to this:

If you think this is all there is to gaming, this hobby weeps for you.

I've never heard that joke before either! Bet you haven't seen this picture!

They make it because it sells. Simple concept.

HAHAHAHA I'VE NEVER HEARD THAT JOKE BEFORE THIS VERY SECOND.

Has the gaming community ever beat a horse so dead before? I'm so beyond tired of DLC whining.

There are a plethora of reasons kids these days are morons. Not beating them with belts isn't one of them.

Makes sense to me. They had a fully complete (in terms of size/scope) product and delayed shipping for polish and an MP Beta. Part of the team worked on their first planned DLC pack, it finished before the ship date, they threw it on the disc.

If the game is as good as that was, it would be stellar. Everything about that was superb, except for the quality of the facial graphics.

I buy almost all CE's when available for games that I like. And I only buy games I really like, so I end up with most of them. I also used to buy guides for all my games, but now only do it for those that really need them (RPGs, etc).

BC2 MP removed features from BF2. What did it add? Destruction, via the Engine, and that's it. 64 player? Nope, 32. Jets? Nope, just choppers. Removing features = downgrade. BF3 has all the same features of BF2, and then some. To be honest it feels like you haven't even played BF2. It's the only way you

Because viewing Battlefield as bi-annual is incorrect.

I bought a 2500k and 580 for this game, although I'll enjoy it with other games like Skyrim.
