I liked The Darkness, but man they could have done so much more with the story. The whole concept behind it has so much potential depth, and none of it gets used.

If you can't find a solution by downloading the files (which is a bad idea to start with), you're only option is probably formatting. I did a .5 second Google such and it doesn't look like a common issue with an easy solution. Your file disappeared, you can't get it back.

I think the real question to be asked here is why did they feel the need to model her slit. I don't see any purpose that serves, unless you're a creepo developer who had after hours fun with the model.

The fact that something like this is possible in a game that has a reputation as being difficult and punishing is what makes it so god damn awesome.
