I don't think I've been this excited for a game since OoT. I used to cut out Nintendo Power ads and print off screenshots from online to sticky-tack to my wall while I waited for it to come out. I played the preview copy at Toys R Us for hours before the game was released.

Karkand will be purchasable by people who don't preorder.

If I rent a beach house from you for $300 a week and a hurricane causes me to evacuate for the last 4 days, are you going to reimburse me? Something tells me no. It's not your fault there was a hurricane.

I often go back and forth on the whole concept of outages. WoW is an easy example, because it goes down weekly, which rarely (but sometimes) lasts longer. The problem for me with not paying during outages is that you have to draw a line somewhere. Which brings up questions like where is the line and who gets to

I wonder why people think not buying map packs makes you better than those who do (RE: a lot of comments I've read in this thread). I don't get it. Is it one of those anti-establishment things? Like when people hate the government, but don't know why?

'on accident'...

There was a day when I would have jumped on this thread like a fly on shit.

Saw this post on my phone, but was unable to due to moving houses. Good to see it's full of people correcting (criticizing) the whole thing. I really couldn't believe what I read here, there's just so much wrong with it.

I love Catherine, I think it's genius. My ex (that I live with, very weird but it works) was watching me play and the decisions I made.

That's about as 'survival horror' as RE5. That is to say, not at all.

1. Yeah, that was my mistake. I gave fanboys and Kotaku commenters too much credit. I suppose I also have to explain what I just said, and that I don't mean all Kotaku commenters are fanboys, seeing as how this thread went down.

I didn't make that comment until a bit through the thread, and I made it directed to those who took the discussion to PC > Consoles, which was never where it was. There's a certain anti-console/PC is better tone that started to blatantly appear, like "You're falsely assuming that PC gamers can't beat your setup.".

I thought Crysis 2 was sort of boring, and it had one of the worst endings ever. The final boss fight of Crysis was a huge alien ship on top of a battleship in the middle of a storm at sea. The final boss in Crysis 2 was... 4 stealth dudes? Yawn.

I couldn't care less about mods. Give me BF3 and give it to me now. PUT IT IN MY VEINS.

1. The statement can be indirectly inferred to be a statement about console vs. PC, but it isn't explicitly stating anything other than what it states (fancy that).

So whats that make you?

Don't defend the heretic! All PC gamers must either have full 5.1 set ups or play through a home theatre system. To do anything else is blasphemy.

I wasn't trolling at all. I don't see why this is hard to understand. I stated my two options and the one I chose. There isn't a single remnant of trolling in my original post.

I see no value in showing people respect if they don't deserve it. If they deserved it, I'd probably like them. Most people would call me a pessimist or a cynic, but I'm just a realist. People I'm friends with will tell you I'm sarcastic, funny, and fun to hang out with. People I like and people I dislike view me

Except I didn't throw a *console better than PC* anything. My two options are my couch, 5.1 and 46" TV or my computer chair and my 23" with 2.1. One is clearly better than the other. It's laughable that peoples' response is 'connect your PC to your TV, buy 5.1 for your PC, etc'. Like I said, it's Portal 2, not
