I find with most games that have mechanics or quirks I'm unfamiliar with (i.e not games like Call of Duty, etc), there's a thick wall in my way for the first level or two, but once I get past that it's either easy or just right.
Being someone who plays everything automatically on the hardest difficulty, that sounds like a lot of fun. Will get.
After upgrading my computer more than significantly I was looking for games to feed it for breakfast. Metro 2033 came up, but after watching some video reviews I wasn't a fan of the creature design and the combat seemed a little meh. After watching this though, I think it may deserve a play through.
No. And no one spending $2800 on a gaming laptop does either.
Even as a display, why am I looking down at my keyboard instead of at the screen? I don't really see any practical use for this feature at all. If you're gaming on a laptop, you're using a mouse, so you aren't using the touchpad... so why is it there? <_<
How am I going to press keys where a numpad would be when my hand is on a mouse?
SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!
I wanted to like Oblivion, I really did. I tried to like it, but after 5 hours or so I said no more. At the time I was an insane achievement whore, so I had to 100% it.
Before my recent PC upgrade: Hah! 360 wins again. Suckers. (I do own a PS3, but prefer my 360)
RE: Song reference
I never played online, and the single player was good, but not worth $60 by a long shot. I don't think I'd like Uncharted MP, although I may try it with 3. That being said, I'll still probably rent 3 and beat it over a weekend like I did the first two.
I rented and beat both in a weekend. Not enough there for a purchase in my opinion.
I wonder why the AI was weak, the level design was boring, they had bland visuals, etc. Maybe they spent too much time doing something else instead of focusing on those aspects... hmmm... wonder what they could have spent all that time on.
Looks terrible.
I don't know why you need me to define what a gimmick is, it should be quite obvious. Oh hey, you can deform terrain and our entire game will be based around it. Oh hey, you can mess with gravity and our entire game will be based around it.
This is a mediocre third person shooter with a gravity gimmick. Fracture was the same, but with land deformation. Dark Void was the same, but with jet packs.
My my, that's a big brush you wield sir. Must have to work out a lot to be able to swing that around.
Gimmick game is gimmicky. So now I'm shooting sideways at enemies behind cover? My, how revolutionary. Probably gets old by the 3rd level, and gimmick games without their gimmicks are rarely worth playing. Yawn.
I can't even play Dragon Age 2 because of the absolutely disgusting UI. I can't even believe a UI that is that ugly and horrid made it to the retail copy of a game. Blech.
