The fun you have playing BF3 will be sucked dry by the not-fun that is Dead Island. Thus, I will have more fun than you.

My logic has nothing to do with trailer != game. It has to do with an obvious lack of quality between the two. One has a lot more than the other.

There's a large disconnect in the level of quality between the trailer and the game. The trailer is pretty much perfect. The music is perfect, the story told is perfect, the way it's told is perfect, and it looks pretty. It's poignant.

The problems with the visuals and animations speak for much more than themselves, maybe that isn't what you're understanding. Or maybe you just don't know mediocrity when you see it, I don't know.

I classify a triple A title as a game with tons of money behind it that is also a good game. Mediocre games with $50 mil behind them are mediocre games, not triple A titles.

Yes they are and yes there are. Did you see the same gameplay videos I did? Honestly, the leg kicks? I can't even get into how bad those are. If you can't animate a first person leg kick, good luck making the rest of your game triple A.

Dead Rising was amazing. Everything about this game reeks of mediocrity. From the animations, to the graphics, to the combat, it all looks completely terrible. This game will be completely subpar and many people will be disappointed.

Game looks like mediocre turd. Shame considering how amazing the trailer was.

You have to be pretty stupid to not know what bandwidth is. I'm pretty sure my Mom who doesn't even have internet knows that uploading and downloading both count towards bandwidth usage. Add on to the fact that it took you 2 months to clue in, and somehow you thought it'd be a good idea to upload insane amounts of

I'd assume they have to sign some sort of legal document stating they will disclose any and all problems they find, lest they not tell IW about a bug in hopes of it staying and them sharing it upon release.

Yeah, and it looked bad. Same with Dead Island. Makes me sad.

I mean the basic UI elements. Health bars, etc. Nothing I've seen of it has impressed me, I'll probably never play it. DA:O however is proving to be a lot of fun.

I recently started playing DA:O, and while I wish the combat system required a bit less micro-management, I'm enjoying it. Dragon Age 2 on the other hand looks absolutely atrocious. I honestly can't even believe the UI made it past the Alpha stage. Looks like something my dad made in MS Paint.

I predict even more Dead Island syndrome.

Sounds like someone is jealous they don't have $40,000 to spend on the frivolous.

I don't understand why you would complain about a game being offered digitally. PC games come out digitally and at retail on the same day, why is a 2 week window worth an article? How is it a middle finger to retail? Why is it a bad thing?

I haven't played OoT since it first came out (and boy did I play it). I'm honestly tempted to get a 3DS just for it.

Yeah, having to put $5 down on a game you're 'passionately loyal' about for a few hours worth of unlocks is a pretty big deal. What an infringement on human rights.

Battlefield 3 looks a million times better in every way.

No limbs flying all over the place 24/7? No thanks.
