The backwards compatibility is garbage anyways, so it's irrelevant. I went out of my way to find a 60GB and playing FFXII on my 46" 1080p made me want to vomit. I'd rather plug in my PS2.

The Silent Hill movie, in my opinion, is the most true-to-game adaptation I've seen. I think they capture the overall feel and put in a lot of subtleties (like camera angles that mimicked those in the game) that made it enjoyable.
