@potatojenkins: 1) That doesn't really change anything. You can't access it unless you hack it.

@Agumen: Good luck in your trial. Oh, what's that? You're not actually going to do anything, you're just going to complain on the internet? Oh, okay then.

@countingdown7: You should thank them for creating the product by buying it. They are pretty kind to spend years making it though, I agree with you on that one.

@countingdown7: There's no reason to get dramatic. They control what is on the disc and what you have access to. It's a simple fact. When you buy it you're buying what they give you. There's no crime being committed.

@Agumen: Even what you're saying now is semantics. When you buy a game you're purchasing the game. The developer decides what is the game and what is DLC. Just because it's on the disc, doesn't mean it's yours.

@Adhominem: "I think you're missing the point. If company A,B,C,D,E aren't finished with the game, why do they have development assets diverted to future DLC? "

@TwilightsBard: "I paid $60 dollars for the content on the disc", really? Says who? You? You pay $60 for what they give you. Just because it's on the disc doesn't mean it's yours. This has already been proven in the past with unlock codes. I don't sign to automatic entitlement to whatever is on the disc. I'm

I can understand why people get irked when 'DLC' is already on the disc and you have to pay to unlock it, but should we really be upset?

@Kenology18: Of course, I never said otherwise.

@Kenology18: I see most companies investing in R&D planning their next offering, harnessing new tech, etc.

I like how Nintendo relies entirely on Miyamoto to do anything. There won't be a new console until he needs one? lol

@zåɳzißarlegeпȡ: Still... I don't see 7 years of development in the video above. Maybe you're right and it's in the content and not the graphics, but still... over a million hours spent is insane.

@aurahack: I'm fairly sure most people would agree with me. You act like Forza 3 looks like a PS1 and GT5 looks like a PS2. This isn't the case, as much as you want it to be.

@aurahack: I have a hard time finding a vast difference between the graphics in Forza 3 and GT5.

@Tyrsis: But it's just a racing game.

If their crew is 80 people and each is working 40 hours per week, each year of development there are 166,400 hours being put into the game.
