@Reavyn29: Maybe it's because I'm trashed, but I have no clue what point you're making here.

@N-Robes: I don't pay attention to what's meant for what, I just complain wherever.

Some day some company will come out with a big budget game that has no DRM. And it will still sell, and everyone will go 'Oh...', and DRM will disappear.

Bad Company 2 for the PC has one of the worst and slowest server browsers ever.

I hate people who skip cutscenes.

@DeusDevoid: Again, you're only given information you receive. Seems obvious, but if you think you know everything about a situation as complex as that one, then ignorance must be bliss.

@BillyTheRatKing: The last game I got for Steam on launch day was HL2, and there was a preload and (late) midnight release. I just assumed they did that for all big releases, and I'm puzzled as to why it isn't standard procedure.

@DeusDevoid: Considering you have absolutely no real idea of what's going on over there you aren't in much of a position to make such a rash judgement.

Anyone have thoughts on the Steam pre-load snafu? Lots of people are pretty annoyed.

@ifandbut: I understand that, but plenty of MMO's don't have mechanics in place that exist only to increase the time it takes to do something. I can zip around almost anywhere in WoW in a couple minutes, can't do that in FFXI. Can't mount in FFXI. Lose XP instead of money, which requires you to level more. The

@belo: That I did not.

@ifandbut: No, some are actually fun.

@Mechachu: If I say something is terrible, clearly that is my opinion, no?

@Mechachu: I'm going to ignore the 'don't know how to play comment' since you would have no way of knowing how I played.

@Faiye Munro: That's great then, and hopefully those changes carry through to FFXIV and I can play an FF MMO that doesn't equate to being waterboarded. I played FFXI from launch to CoP and I honestly have no idea why I did.

@Faiye Munro: It was the same after Zilart. As far as I can remember it was the same when CoP launched too, so... *golf clap*

@kevipants!: +1 to being invested in the game. Heavy Rain is the first game to make me feel anything, even if it's slight. I've been noticeably tense and frantic in certain parts of the game, which has never happened to me before.

@Faiye Munro: Of course I haven't played it recently, why would I want to? I played it into Zilart which was years after the original release and absolutely no concessions had been made to fix its problems.

@Jilkon: 5.6 years (lol) and only one character at the cap? Yeah, doesn't sound like a time sink at all.
