I'd argue that this current season, Blood vs Water, is the best since Heroes vs Villains. The cast is very good, the editing for the most part has been fair, the gameplay decent, some shocking moments and nice blindsides.

Although the first time they used rocks was at Final 4 in Marquesas, which production later admitted was a mistake and they really should have done the fire making challenge!

And lets not forget the infamous NaOnka and Purple Kelly situation.

Jeff never wanted Colton back on the show in the first place. He was overruled. And then when Colton quit…AGAIN…it proved Jeff right, and pissed him off rightly so.

Hayden WAS the best player on that crappy season though. His social game was far better than the other Brigade members. Plus production didn't want him to win so he had them to fight against too. Hayden isn't the most interesting person to be on a reality-gameshow but he is very perceptive, as we saw on Survivor this

Tina and Aras also both separately said in their pre-game interviews that they wanted to work with each other. So I think an Aras/Vytas/Tina/Katie alliance at the merge is very likely.

She definitely benefited a lot from "luck", but that is a big element of the game. I don't like to think about Samoa too much though, the worst the editing has ever been. What an awful season.

Natalie did have a confessional about half-way through (can't remember the exact episode) where she said something along the lines of how Russell will always be a bigger target over her.

Forgive me if I'm being stupid, but what podcast is this?

And his deal with Schrute Farms: Beets by Dre (and Dwight).

The waiter worked because how often do tense scenes in public places in TV shows go completely uninterrupted? Nearly all the time, the interrupting waiter undercut that nicely.

And then Tim Riggins bursts in and drunkenly beats up Masuka.

Agreed with you on Taryn Manning. I disagree that her performance is in any way weaker than the others. Her character isn't perhaps as fleshed out as the others, but Manning gives such a delightfully menacing performance that it covers up those cracks.

Was anyone else shocked to see Quinn in a checked shirt this week as opposed to his usual array of stripes?

Has there ever been a contestant that has come across so different than their previous outing? I know Colby sucked at challenges on HvV, and Jerri Manthey came across a lot sweeter in HvV. And yes, Cochran has grown in confidence this season.

I read that Dawn was checked in to the psychiatric clinic at Makati Medical Center in Philippines after this season is over.

James Franco art project employs child labor.

Good list, don't agree with everything though. Redemption Island is way too high, as much as I love Boston Rob, that season is balls. Also, Gabon is too low in my opinion, it is a sucky season for great strategic game-play, but it is great for big characters and crazy moves.

Brenda is someone that had tons of potential though, so I'm happy to see her play again. Like someone else said, Parvati wasn't that big of a player in Cook Islands but her performance on Fans vs Faves and Heroes vs Villains made her a Survivor legend. So maybe Brenda can do a Parvati.
