It's crazy. I was like, "where they hell do I know her from, she is so familiar…"

This probably isn't fair, but my first reaction to something like this is that somewhere lurking beneath the message that genre fiction is valid, there is the thought that they will show everybody what happens when "REAL writers" write sci-fi, fantasy, etc.

I'm near the end of episode 2 and am enjoying the season so far. Happy to report that Chloe Sevigny is back.

I think he has a candle fetish or something. You know how you can let the wax drip off… well in this case, the candle went out before he could do that, so he's disappointed.

I haven't heard enough from the media about millennials and the brand new problems that they face as young people, and how Gen Xers, who certainly were not the exact same thing in the 90s, are annoyed by them. So I can't wait. /s

Based on Neil's parting comments to Michele, I don't think he would have been much help to Aubry in that regard.

Dude, Aubry lost TWO of her closest allies to injuries and still had the power all the way to the final 4. Her game was stellar.

I know it's part of the game. I guess it's just my least favorite part of the game.

The final advantage COULD have been the difference, but wasn't. If Aubry had won that challenge, let's say she votes Scot off the jury (or Jason or Julia, doesn't matter). She gets rid of a Michele vote and keeps an Aubry vote in Neil. Jason, Julia, Cydney and Nick still vote for Michele, so she loses 4-3 instead

I think she was still a little bitter over her narrow loss to Aubry, and also she had a little alliance with Michele at the end. I kind of expected her to vote for Michele.

Getting to the jury is kind of like making the playoffs in baseball. Once you get to the jury/playoffs, the whole thing becomes a crapshoot. The best player/team doesn't always win.

I don't get this "if the jury votes for you, you deserve to win" crap. It's not always true in real life, and it's not always true in Survivor. This was a stupid fucking jury. Scot and Jason based their votes entirely on the fact that they were sore losers who couldn't admit that they were outplayed by Aubry.

I don't like good movies at all, frankly.

I thought the apology was pretty well stated and seemed sincere.

So did I. It's like the reviewers read an entirely different book than the one I enjoyed.

Holy shit, there's a sequel to Girl?

Exactly. All the self-righteous snark about Hooters from people who've never been there is a bit tiresome.

I've had bad ones there as well. It's a very inconsistent franchise, really.

It's the atmosphere, not the outfits. A good Hooters can be a really fun place to go. A bad Hooters is godawful. It depends on location, management, and staff, including cooks. I've never liked the wings, but have been to a few that served really good burgers.
