Moby Dick. A surprisingly readable and fun adventure story, but after like 1000 pages of buildup, the epic showdown with the whale doesn't happen until the last two pages, and then it's just over. It didn't change my opinion of the book, but it was a bit surprising.

I loved how Josh's former alliance made no effort whatsoever to stay together. They were all over the place and a couple of them even turned on Reed.
