Microsoft is going to go against the deal and screw over Sony. Just wait and watch. Sony knows this and it’s why they fought so hard to stop this deal from happening.

Sekiro. Crash Bandicoot 4. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 &2. Spyro Reignited.
I wouldn’t be so quick to say it’s ONLY Diablo and CoD. I realize the likelihood of getting a Sekiro sequel or something like Crash Bandicoot 5 is really slim too, but still. They’ve published more than just the franchises you mentioned. The four…
I have both too dude but consumer friendly choice? On what planet? They were the ones still making you need xbox live to use Netflix a few years ago and to play free to play games online.
And for those against it, there’s no way MS would cut off CoD from PS now as it would prove Sony right and potentially block any future acquisitions that MS might want to make.
Yup. They don’t even seem to work out that well for the companies. Activision’s full name is Activison-Blizzard-King. A common argument for these M&A’s is that either one or both companies will go out of business and put their employees out of work if the deal isn’t approved. And yet, Activision is still in this…
They are allowing the largest software company in the world, and the third largest company in the world by market cap, to purchase the largest game software company in the US (non first party). That is fucking horrible.
Welp. I guess we can say goodbye to most Activision games coming to Sony anymore. This is a huge mistake for the long-term, imo.
Microsoft is not an ‘innocent’ player in the game industry. None of them are.
oh yeah, I got you covered:
Mergers and acquisitions of any kind are a net negative for the regular consumer. Call of Duty is on the way to exclusivity and that means a required Xbox purchase if not this gen, then next gen for 1 million+.
This has been an interesting and weird one. No doubt that Microsoft made the better case here, and it’s not really surprising it’s gone in their favor. I still don’t think this is ultimately going to be better for the industry. Simply put, I think Xbox would make better games if they were forced to put that funding…
Where are you getting this from Microsoft is MASSIVE compared to Sony which itself is not “small”
Narrowing the focus of the case to Call of Duty, to the exclusion of most other of Activision’s IP was a huge mistake and negatively affected the strength of FTC’s case.
And the woman could have avoided getting raped if she’d worn pants instead of a skirt.
How does one “take a trusted mechanic” when buying a car? I AM my trusted mechanic, so it’s easy, but how does one take an external trusted mechanic I mean. You could pay them for their time. I’ve never seen a dealer that would let me take the car to a shop and have it looked over. But most of the places I go are…
While the dealer is definitely scummy, Munoz is not without fault here, either. Munoz should have done more to check and make sure that everything with that car was fine
Subaru Forester Premium/Touring, preferably with the 2.0XT. Absolutely amazing visibility. Great AWD for Kansas winters.
That’s unlikely to be the case because these streaming only shows pay barely any residuals to begin with - multiple orders of magnitude less than traditional cable and and broadcast shows would. That’s actually one of the major reasons the WGA is striking, along with protection against AI replacement.
Disney executive #1: “Here’s this $50 million, straight-to-streaming kids movie about astronauts. It releases on Disney+ in a couple of months.”
This tactic should be on the table in the writers strike, if it isn’t already. All creative should insist on contracts that protect their works — at the very minimum, prevent them from going into a vault, never to be seen again, all for the sake of a write-off.
This also means we can discriminate against religions we don’t agree with too right? RIGHT?
