You don’t want 2 free new headlights at some point in the future?

I get it, sort of.

Maybe they could move to Texas, I heard they got this thing out there called ERCOT.  Sounds real cool and futuristic.

Mass exodus of...checks notes 0.3% in one year after a 5.8% increase over the previous decade.

OK.

People being employed isn’t the main driver behind the current inflationary pressure. Yes, the government pumped too much money into the economy during COVID; but it wasn’t the individuals who were the major recipients and beneficiaries of that…

Well, now we know what the next GOP talking point is going to be:

Ah yes, more folks are working and have a bit more money than they have in 30+ years so now inflation is our fault. Not the price gouging and stock buy backs, or the PPP loan forgiveness, it’s the regular folks who’ve been scraping by for decades.

Remember 2008, when everyone was unable to pay their mortgage? Feels familiar to me.”

Screw Elon. All I know is the company I work for won the contract to build the HSR. If that means we took money away from Elon and his pipe dreams, oh well.

Is Elon Musk just the Monorail guy from the Simpsons?

Its ok to keep saying true things.

Just look at Trump. He’s a totally corrupt evil moron but (some) people treat him like the pope. Musk is going to have to literally kill someone on TV at the next presidential inauguration to even make a dent.

Elon rarely acts like a man.

American Exceptionalism; basic services work everywhere but here.

Can we throw him away yet?

Fraud is fraud, there’s always recourse when there’s fraud. The question is if there is any fraud and can you prove it.

Right, but the onus would be on you to prove the odometer has been tampered with, just as how it is on Musk to prove that Twitter’s bot estimate of 5% is inaccurate before you or Musk have any recourse.

I mean, it’s Ken Paxton. We already know he’s corrupt. This would be pretty routine for him.

Except that’s not the deal Elon signed.
