The last episode was so great and honestly the perfect ending for this series.

I never understood the hate on this show due to people were conflating Lena Dunham with a character she created. I remember when 30 Rock came out, and a Slate critic said that Tina Fey hasn’t been single since the Clinton administration so therefore she wouldn’t know how to write dialogue for Liz Lemon.

Initially, I left this show alone. I heard enough yelling about OMG WHITE GIRLS that I avoided it.

Sometimes, the free market actually works the way it is supposed to. This is one of those times. I have chosen to enjoy this moment by throwing my head back and laughing loudly.

I feel like if they’d just pulled that back a bit, if he’d been callous but not necessarily evil, the whole thing might have flowed a little better. It just seemed a little to abrupt and hand-wavey, all for a vague idea that maybe it would free Dolores...or something?
