Yeah their Saturday qualifying has been embarrassing, to say the least... That's been the downfall of Lotus this season too, even though they've had pretty decent results.

Yeah I lived on San Felipe years back, and that is definitely not a normal occurrence. I'm surprised nobody took a second look. That area is always crawling with cops and never slows down, there's always traffic even early in the AM.

I wouldn't say it's a "device", but I would say it's a "system" on the car that acts as a driver-aid, and obviously "capable" of doing so if this is what they're going for. Both are banned per the sporting regs posted here.
