His schtick gets a little old at times, but it’s not that bad. I do appreciate his daily double wagering. He actually uses them as the advantage they should be.

This is me playing Trivial Pursuit. I always answer “Spiro Agnew” on every question related to US history and get it right every single time.
This guy is amazing. I love that he’s willing to risk so freaking much in double and final Jeopardy. The other night the guy needed to just wager over $2k in final Jeopardy to guarantee a win, and he wagered something like $20k. It’s funny to see people win a day of Jeopardy with like $10k-$15k, and then this guy will…
Maybe they will have Zach Galifinakis as a guest on SNL to do a parody of this guy.
It’s his double jeopardy strategy that makes him so good. I’ve never seen anyone consistently bet as big as he does on them. People are usually WAY too conservative with daily doubles and he thinks nothing of betting $5,000 or more. He’s outstanding at getting control of the board and then going hunting in the second…
I feel the same. And I haven’t seen it discussed much here.
I apologise if this has already been discussed somewhere, but I haven’t seen it - anyone feel a little queasy that the Obamas let Malia intern for him? Of course THEIR daughter was going to be safe and treated with utmost respect, but surely they had heard some of these rumours, right? They had to have an inkling that…
Times have changed, you need to evolve, argle bargle *handjob motion*
But what about all of the women who need representation against Harvey? I realize all lawyers need to make money, but you don’t get to keep your reputation as a champion of women if you find that money by defending someone you know to be a serial predator against the type of women you made your name representing. …
Seriously! Harvey Weinstein is not a veteran of the Mad Men era who cut his teeth in his industry in the decades before the term “sexual harassment” was a term people used. This guy graduated high school in 1970, give or take a year, which means he went to college when the Women’s Movement was in full swing and that…
Does she and her mother actually practice law in courts. I’ve only ever seen both of them at press conferences.
A sausage finger is probably the least offensive thing Harvey Weinstein has pointed at the women he’s harassed.
Harvey Weinstein was born in 1952, not 1852. I think trying to justify his behavior by saying that he “...came of age in the 60's and 70's when all the rules about workplace behavior were different,” is utter bullshit. Did he fall into a coma from 1980 to 2017? Does he really think anyone is going to buy this sad…
He’s not being charged, or sued. There’s no lawyer code that says “defend every jagoff criticized of anything and protect his precious gropey feelings”.
She’s not defending him, she’s running PR. Everyone has a right to a defense, not positive press.
She has enough money that she could choose to represent clients that align with her ‘brand’ as a lawyer. She could be a human that teaches powerful men that when they abuse their power, there won’t be people lining up to help them out of whatever situation they’ve put themselves in.
As we work together on a project bringing my book to the screen
I must have missed the court order appointing her as his attorney.
*Gets popcorn out for Gretchen Mol to come forward.*
This is probably the “throw everything at the wall” strategy, after the “offer a back rub” strategy failed.
