When I watched Heathers, I mostly rooted for J.D. and Veronica (although now that I am an adult, J.D. was basically the WORST), like Veronica was supposed to be tearing down the whole “popular girl” thing and all that. What even is this message supposed to be now?

He was a proto MRA even in the original. But that’s maybe an antihero we don’t need right now.
