I think they did have some disagreements about the tone, but RTD and the other execs siding with the director, Keith Boak, really put the nail in the coffin. This stuff has really only started coming out in the last year or so, though.

It’s pretty unfair to Eccleston too. He quit because an extra nearly died due to sloppy pyrotechnics work and the director didn’t give a shit about it.

Batwoman is probably a nearly impossible character to cast well so a second time’s going to be tricky. Kate Kane should be physically intimidating and Batwoman should be terrifying. I wasn’t convinced by Ruby Rose in either mode.
