Just once I’d like to see a horror movie that violates more of the lesser-known amendments.

Did you look at the table? 24% in the 60-100k, 25% in the 100k+ range - one in four gun owners are doing pretty well indeed.

I’m not really speaking of the affluent white enclaves; I know they’re another world.

I’d be much more impressed if he were nearly done on the next Toto record

And gun sales dropped off so much after a black man was no longer president that at least one gun manufacturer (Remington) is in some financial difficulty right now.

Satan’s kind of a step down from the Master in the evil stakes but oh well.

Check out GREEN WING if you haven’t already.

Mentally ill people are mostly likely to direct violence towards themselves, not others. The mass-shooting pathology is rooted in masculinity and is predicted by domestic violence.

Okay so sitcom format means they’re less likely to have the occasional utterly nightmare-inducing episode like the original show did.

My only objection to this is: how the hell is the first Gremlins a by-the-numbers horror?

Well, specifically, men need to hear that.

OK yes I do know who Scott Rosenberg is.

The only name I recognised in the writing team was COMMUNITY’s Chris McKenna, so of course he’s not in this news story.

Great Doctors make great villains!

St John’s Wort is a plant byproduct and cannot feel fear

Anthony Lapaglia is a very fine actor but he’s an Aussie trying to maintain an American accent, making him do Manchester on top of that must have been a strain.

I was just saying to someone else I’d heard he was a bit of an informal accent coach on set.

I remember reading somewhere that as a native Mancunian he had to teach Jane Leeves, who’s from the East End, the accent.

On the other hand Banks also wrote the Wasp Factory so he gets an enteral pass for being a bit of his time in other regards.
